I have internet access, but cannot access home network. When I click the
Advanced tab when to view the network properties I get this: Windows cannot
display the Properties of this connection. The Windows Management
Instrumentation (WMI) information might be corrupted.

To correct this, use System Restore to restore Windows to an earlier time
(called a restore point). System Restore is located in the System Tools
folder in Accessories. I tried this and got the same result. I then did a
repair installation of XP Pro and still get the same result. Anyone have
any Ideas? Do I have to do a clean install or is there another solution?
HELP!

I have the same problem, but fear a re-installation of XP in case I lose data and settings.

Did the reply by Eric fix the problem?

Thanks
